Simultaneous surgery on all four Heart Valves in a 10 year old child.

A young patient, born with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) who underwent his initial corrective open-heart surgery in early childhood, has defied all odds.

Facing a catastrophic, rare case of Infective Endocarditis, with major leaks in all 4 heart valves -he has achieved a full recovery and is now 6 weeks post-op and thriving! Executing this High-Risk Redo Surgery meant entering a chest with dense, hostile surgical scar tissue from her childhood operation, while simultaneously managing critical pre-operative low blood pressure and severe Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH).The complex procedure required correcting all four valves of the heart simultaneously, including a bioprosthetic pulmonary valve replacement.
