About Us
The department of physical Education strives for the Physical and Mental health of students. The department does this with teaching physical education both theoretical and practical aspects to students in their allotted hours. Apart from these sports activities are encouraged among students. Periodically intramurals and extramural sports competitions are held in various sports disciplines. Health related fitness assessments are also conducted and the results are communicated to students. Students are also advised about the ways and means to develop and maintain physical fitness. The department coordinates with Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) in organizing various sports championships and works for the promotion of sports and physical activities.
