PATHOLOGY DEPARTMENT

Clinical Pathology Lab is working 24 hrs.

1. Histopathology:- Biopsy , IHC, Second Opinion, Autopsy, Histochemical staining, Imprint study
2. Cytology- FNAC, Fluid cytology, Pap Smear
3. Hematlogy – CBC, ESR, Peripheral smear , Bone marrow Coagulation study, Platelet aggregometry

1. CBC – (Hb, TC, DC, Platelet, Blood indices, RDW) – Computerised report is given using Fully Automated Cell counters .
2. Peripheral Smear & Bone Marrow Examination including Cytochemical stains

4. Reticulocyte Count.
5. Absolute Eosinophil Count.
6. Osmotic Fragility Test
7. Sickling Test
8. Bleeding Time

In Cytology Section – FNAC is carried out from 11 AM to 1PM on all working days.Fluid Cytology, Sputum Cytology & Papsmear & Barr body Examination are also done.
