INTERNATIONAL INFECTION PREVENTION WEEK CELEBRATION
International infection prevention week was celebrated in Govt. Medical College Hospital Kottayam from 15th to 21st of October 2023.The event was a resounding success, bringing together healthcare professionals to raise awareness about the importance of infection prevention. The event aimed to educate, engage and inspire individuals to take proactive measures in preventing the spread of infections. Educational workshop was organized to disseminate crucial information on infection prevention strategies, including proper hand hygiene, vaccination awareness and the importance of maintaining a clean environment. Various activities were organized at different areas of the hospital by the link nurses and the dedication and enthusiasm demonstrated by all participants was remarkable throughout the event.
